About Us
Having worked for 20 years designing and installing LED Aircraft Warning Light Systems on TV & Radio masts and previously to that, 20 years working on LED display systems for large UK industrial sites, plus military and domestic Airports;
I had the opportunity to turn my abilities towards something with a little more nostalgia to it; Victorian Copper Lanterns.
Having worked for the last 7 years for a Company in Malvern,
I also now wish to offer my restoration services to others, giving them the opportunity to see their old Lanterns brought back to life. Even supplying custom designed LED technology to give a traditional Gas lamp Mantle look.

Julian renovated the old lantern at our holiday cottages to a very high standard. With a mock clockwork winder mechanism and 12V LED light sources with the appearance of gas mantles, The new lantern draws many compliments from guests and remains a feature piece in our yard.
Julian Salter was recently engaged by the Parochial Church Council of St Mary's, Ripple to repair the lantern in the north porch, and is currently in the process of carrying out similar repairs on two smaller lanterns on the side of the building. His work on the main lantern has been much admired by visitors and local members of the community alike.
